Bump in National Birth Rate Attributed to Austin City Limits 2009

According to trusted sources, during the months of July and August 2010, we should see a significant increase in the national birth rate.  Currently standing at 14.18 births/1000 people, the figure is expected to rise to approximately 17.32 births/1000 people during the aforementioned months.

At first many were stunned by such an assertion, but  upon further investigation of historical data by the Obstetricians Association of America and The National Board of Practicing OBGYNs, it is not an uncommon phenomenon; it last took place in 1979.

The experts are tying the occurrence to today’s back to back 5:30pm & 6:30pm cst sets by Raphael Saadiq and John Legend at Austin City Limits.  The last occurrence of such a “sexual eruption“* took place after the joint Al Green/Teddy Pendergrass Tour in 1979.  The Green Grass Tour is responsible for what is still a record birth rate, clocking in at 20.13 births/ 1000 people.  So the good money will be in Obstetrics for the foreseeable future.
