Designer Carnovsky has put together a very interesting concept to interior design.  A triple printed wallpaper consisting of 3 layered images, each in either red, green, or blue.  The effect is stunning, especially when bathed in either red, green, or blue light (below). 

Levi van Veluw is a Netherlands based artists whose work looks to as he states:

The images that I make consist of often unlogical combinations of materials, patterns, colours, forms, with my head as the only constant factor. Each element is consciously chosen so as to affect a pre-determined transformation. By playing with the value of the each material and by using them for a purpose that was not originally intended for them, I construct within the image, in a very small way, a different perspective on the world.

I’ve never been one of those constant Youtube users.  It always seemed rather cheap on the whole.  I only find out about cool shit on youtube through friends, blogs, etc.  Having to sit through an unreliable buffering video only to have its quality be spotty at best, even with the current HD setting, which has made the experience a bit better.  But that still doesn’t make watching someone with an overinflated since of importance discuss the occult symbolism of Lady Gaga, or poorly edited cat videos.

This is why Vimeo is the shit; well crafted videos and art in high quality, with a low level of bullshit thrown in.

This is a damn dope concept: McDonalds and high fashion.  With this project by TheCoolHunter’s latest dedicated entity Access Agency, scheduled to launch this year, they have brought together both the universally accessible and the universally aspirational.  The results have been fly:

This should be the future development of Facebook. The design is clean, inviting, and simple.
